Mariah Carey’s “Infinity” Debuts with 26K First Week Sales

In conjunction with its #82 debut on the Billboard Hot 100, Mariah Carey’s new single “Infinity” enters the Digital Songs subchart at #45.

According to Nielsen Music, the #45 position is attributable to the 26,000 sales it received during the April 27-May 3 tracking week.

A decidedly modest count, the weekly sales total joined forces with the song’s 1.8 million weekly US streams to produce the aforementioned #82 debut on the Hot 100 (the song’s first-week radio audience level was not a significant factor).

“Infinity” is Carey’s 47th entry on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is cut from her forthcoming “#1 to Infinity” compilation.
