Ratings: FOX’s “Gotham” Rises for Season Finale; “The Following” Falls

While it did not bring the show back to its fall levels, the season finale of FOX’s “Gotham” did enjoy a week-over-week ratings uptick.

Per fast national data, Monday’s “Gotham” drew a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating with 4.86 million viewers. Both numbers best those of the previous edition, which delivered a 1.5 and 4.58 million viewers.

The freshman drama notably cooled off this spring, but it remains one of FOX’s best scripted performers. It has already been renewed for season two.

Despite the improved lead-in support, this week’s “The Following” slipped. After posting a 1.2 with 3.46 million viewers last week, the third season drama drew a 1.1 with 3.25 million this week.
