George Ezra’s “Budapest” Lands at New York’s Z100

Already in the Top 25 at pop radio, George Ezra’s breakthrough “Budapest” is now being supported by one of the format’s most powerful stations.

According to Mediabase, New York’s influential Z100 officially added the song this week.

While a Z100 add is not an instant ticket to the top of the pop airplay chart, it does speak to the song’s enduring momentum. That momentum could take “Budapest” into the top 20 of Mediabase’s official pop airplay chart as early as this week.

A former #1 at AAA radio and top 10 hit at alternative, the multi-format release is currently positioned within the Top 10 at hot adult contemporary radio. It is at a peak of #42 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
