Hot 100: Skrillex, Diplo & Justin Bieber Go Top 50 with “Where Are U Now”

The collaboration between Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber is now a Top 50 hit on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

After enjoying an eighteen position rise to #64 on last week’s chart, their “Where Are Ü Now” soars an additional twenty two spots to a new peak of #42 this week.

In addition to rising on the overall Hot 100, the song also makes moves on two key subcharts. It jumps fifteen places to a new high of #26 on Digital Songs and debuts at #40 on Streaming Songs.

The song, which credits Skrillex and Diplo as lead artists and Bieber as a featured performer, is the second single from the former duo’s “Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü.” Neither Skrillex nor Diplo had previously reached the Top 50 as a lead artist.

— “Where are U Now” is not the week’s only addition to the Top 50. David Guetta’s “Hey Mama (featuring Nicki Minaj and Afrojack)” also makes the necessary leap.

Up twelve places, it settles on a new peak of #44. The Hot 100 lift comes in conjunction with a rise to #17 on Digital Songs.

— Trey Songz’ “Slow Motion” also reaches the Top 50 this week. It rises six places to a new high of #45.

In addition to gaining on the Hot 100, “Slow Motion” jumps to a new peak of #29 on the Streaming Songs subchart.
