Ratings: Syfy’s “12 Monkeys” Finale Adds Viewers, “Helix” Falls

Indicative of a transformed skew, Friday’s “12 Monkeys” held steady in the adults 18-49 demographic but bested last week’s episode in total viewers.

This Friday’s episode, which brought the inaugural season a close, drew a 0.20 adults 18-49 rating with 661,000 viewers.

Last week’s installment posted the same 0.20 rating but reached only 580,000 total viewers.

Despite consistently faring unremarkably in the live-plus-same-day ratings, “12 Monkeys” earned a second season renewal from Syfy.

— The “12 Monkeys” viewership increase did not carry over to “Helix.” Leading out of “Monkeys,” the second season “Helix” finale drew a 0.12 rating with 438,000 viewers.

Both numbers were down from those of last week’s broadcast, which earned a 0.16 rating and 540,000 total viewers.
