BANKS to Perform on CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman”

Late last summer, acclaimed musician BANKS performed on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and NBC’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

The former performance came as her breakthrough alternative radio single “Beggin for Thread” was beginning to take flight. The latter came as her debut studio album “Goddess” arrived in the marketplace.

Both earned strong feedback. Both, therefore, provide reason to believe BANKS will shine when she takes the stage on an upcoming edition of CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman.”

CBS confirms that BANKS, whose “Beggin for Thread” recently began a crossover run at hot adult contemporary/adult pop radio, will perform on the Friday, April 3 “Late Show.” Mike Myers and Nick Griffin will appear as interview guests.

Other upcoming “Letterman” musical guests include The Suffers, Houndmouth and Fat White Family. CBS’ latest listings follow:

Monday, March 30 Actor Neil Patrick Harris; actor Charlie Cox; musical guests The Suffers (n)

Tuesday, March 31 Actor Josh Gad; musical guest Houndmouth (n)

Wednesday, April 1 Sen. Al Franken (D., MN); comedian Billy Eichner; musician David Sanborn (n)

Thursday, April 2 Talk show host Kelly Ripa; author/actor Aasif Mandvi; musical guests Fat White Family (n)
