Special Look: John Mayer, Ed Sheeran Rehearse Grammys Collaboration

Friday’s edition of “The Late Late Show” featured a collaboration between guest host John Mayer and musical guest Ed Sheeran. It was not the last time the two will share a stage.

Earlier this week, CBS confirmed that Mayer and Sheeran will perform as part of an all-star collaboration at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. They rehearsed for that eagerly anticipated performance Friday.

Fellow all-star collaborator Herbie Hancock joined in on piano, while Adam Blackstone and Charlie Haynes handled bass and drum duties, respectively.

Sheeran also took a moment to work through his collaboration with Jeff Lynne’s ELO.

The performances air as part of Sunday’s 57th Annual Grammy Awards broadcast.
