Special Look: Common, John Legend Rehearse Grammys Performance

Common, John Legend (CBS)

In what will represent a big awards show crossover moment, Common and John Legend are due to perform their Oscar-nominated “Glory” at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

That performance will air as part of CBS’ Sunday evening Grammys broadcast. The duo rehearsed its performance Saturday.

While photos from the rehearsal confirm that Common and John Legend are readying their powerful performance for Sunday night, they do not answer the question of whether Beyonce will indeed be part of the moment.

Speaking to the media this week, Common said that Beyonce will introduce “Glory” with her own rendition of “Take My Hand, Precious Lord.” Neither CBS nor the official Grammys website has confirmed Beyonce’s involvement, however.

Still, insofar as one would have to view Common as an authority on his own performance, one should probably anticipate a Beyonce performance.
