Luke Bryan’s “I See You” Officially Hits #1 at Country Radio

Luke Bryan has released six singles from his blockbuster album “Crash My Party.”

All six reached the top spot on Mediabase’s country radio chart.

His latest chart-topper is “I See You,” which usurps #1 from Eric Church’s “Talladega” on the official, published edition of the listing.

While Mediabase’s country chart relies on a points-based system (which assigns specific point totals to spins from each market), “I See You” would have also won a race dictated entirely by raw airplay.

“I See You” received 7,819 spins during the January 25-31 tracking week. Church’s song held up well throughout the week, but its final weekly spin count of 7,756 narrowly trails that earned by Bryan’s song.

Other top five songs this week include Florida Georgia Line’s “Sun Daze” (#3, +1), Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna” (#4, +2) and Randy Houser’s “Like a Cowboy” (#5, +2).

— In addition to the Mediabase chart, “I See You” is also expected to lead this week’s Billboard Country Airplay chart. If it indeed tops that chart, which will be issued Monday evening, it will become the fifth “Crash My Party” single to do so. “That’s My Kind of Night,” which went #1 on Mediabase, peaked at #2 on the Billboard listing.
