MisterWives’ “Reflections” is Indeed Headed to Pop Radio (Updated)

Update: And just like that, “Reflections” has once again been removed from the pop section of Republic’s radio promotions website.

Details behind the removal have not been confirmed, but it seems plausible that Republic is delaying a pop push until the band’s MTV spotlight commences. As one of MTV’s artists to watch for 2015, MisterWives is due to receive ample exposure across MTV’s properties later this year.
================

Back in November, Republic Records’ radio promotions team announced that MisterWives’ buzzworthy “Reflections” would impact the pop format on November 25.

The announcement regarding the song’s pop push disappeared shortly thereafter.

It is back.

Republic now confirms that the track, which made waves on the Vine social network and is already a Top 35 hit at alternative radio, formally goes for crossover pop adds on February 24.

In its promotional text for the song, Republic boasts that the official “Reflections” video has already commanded more than 2 million views on YouTube. After spending twenty five weeks on Spotify’s Viral Charts, the band itself, meanwhile, was named one of the streaming service’s artists to watch for 2015.

“Reflections” currently holds the #33 and #37 positions on the Mediabase and Billboard alternative airplay charts, respectively.
