One Direction Performs in the “Tonight Show” Music Room (Watch Now)

Update: One Direction’s classroom instruments performance aired during Monday’s “The Tonight Show.” The video is below:

Following in the footsteps of names like Meghan Trainor and Idina Menzel, the boys of One Direction visited NBC’s “Tonight Show Music Room” this week.

Unlike those names, however, they will not be performing an original. The group instead joins “Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon and in-house band The Roots to perform a classroom instruments version of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

While One Direction members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are formally being advertised as guests for the Tuesday, December 23 edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show” (along with Jerry Seinfeld and Big Sean), NBC issued a “first look” photo (via its press portal and on Jimmy Fallon’s Instagram) from the “Music Room” ahead of Monday’s episode.

Whether the segment airs Monday or Tuesday, Headline Planet will be sure to post the video when it is available.

For now, take a look at the taping of the segment:
