AC/DC’s “Play Ball” is Rock’s Most-Added, Linkin Park Follows

Active rock radio is absolutely ready to “Play Ball.”

A whopping 29 monitored Mediabase stations playlisted the new AC/DC track this week, which provided it with clear standing as the active rock format’s most-added track. No other song’s add count was even half as large.

Already #12 on the rolling Mediabase airplay chart, the legendary rock group’s “Play Ball” is tracking like a smash.

Other popular additions to active rock playlists included Linkin Park’s “Rebellion (featuring Daron Malakian)” (12 adds), Three Days Grace’s “I Am Machine” (11 adds), Volbeat’s “Doc Holliday” (9 adds), Chevelle’s “An Island” (7 adds) and Nothing More’s “Mr. MTV” (7 adds).
