ABC Books Taylor Swift for “Jimmy Kimmel,” “GMA” and “The View”

It was through an ABC News special that Taylor Swift announced her new album “1989.”  And it will be on an assortment of ABC programming that the singer-songwriter aggressively promotes the release.

ABC announced that Swift will appear as a musical guest on the October 23 edition of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” as an interviewee on the October 27 edition of “Good Morning America,” as an interviewee on the October 29 edition of “The View” and as a performer on the October 30 installment of “GMA.”

ABC touts the “Kimmel” and “GMA” performances, which will take place on Hollywood Boulevard and in New York City, respectively, as “epic concerts.”

“1989,” Swift’s fifth studio album, releases on October 27.
