Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” Debuts with 133,000 Sales

While its sales mark fell short of that achieved by previous lead single “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up),” the latest Fall Out Boy release still debuts as the week’s top new song.

“Centuries,” that new single, opens at #4 on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart on the strength of 133,000 weekly sales.

In February 2013, the aforementioned “My Songs Know” started its run with a sales tally of 162,000.

Mirroring their rankings from last week, Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” (312,000), Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” (309,000) and Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang” (147,000) claim the chart’s top three positions.

Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora)” slips to fifth with sales of 127,000, while Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” earns #6 on the strength of 126,000.

Other top ten sellers: Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be (featuring Jess Glynne)” (#7, 80,000), Jason Aldean’s “Burnin’ it Down” (#8, 78,000), Maroon 5’s “Maps” (#9, 78,000) and Ariana Grande’s “Break Free (featuring Zedd)” (#10, 74,000).
