Ratings: CBS’ “Under the Dome” Posts Six-Week High

CBS’ “Under the Dome” is no longer a ratings blockbuster, but it is definitely not out of the game.

After slipping to a series low on September 1, the sophomore drama has enjoyed two consecutive weeks of ratings rebounds.

This week’s episode, in fact, delivered the best adults 18-49 rating since the August 4 edition. A 1.6, the mark tied the 8/4 episode, was up 14% from last week’s 1.4 and was up 33% from the series low 1.2 posted on 9/1.

Monday’s viewership average of 7.04 million was the show’s best since the August 18 edition. That episode, which drew a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating, garnered 7.30 million viewers.

“Under the Dome” closes its second season on Monday, September 22. CBS has yet to reveal whether it will return next year.
