Jackie Lee is Country’s Most-Added, Josh Turner, Trisha Yearwood Follow

Based on this week’s country adds board, it is clear that being fairly new to the game does not keep one out of the game.

Relative newcomer Jackie Lee, not veterans Josh Turner or Trisha Yearwood, is the artist behind the most-added song at country radio this week.

According to Mediabase, Lee’s newly-impacting “She Does” scored 33 monitored adds this week. No other song received a stronger reception from radio this week.

Brad Paisley’s “Perfect Storm” followed with 30 adds, while Tim McGraw’s recently launched “Shotgun Rider” landed at another 28 stations. “Lay Low” and “PrizeFighter (featuring Kelly Clarkson),” the respective new releases from Turner and Yearwood, tied for fourth-most-added with 25 adds each.

Lee Brice’s “Drinking Class” registered at sixth-most-added with 23 pickups, while Easton Corbin’s “Baby Be My Love Song” was appealing to 21 new programmers. Chase Bryant’s “Take it on Back” (19), Darius Rucker’s “Homegrown Honey” (19) and Joe Nichols’ “Hard to Be Cool” (13) were also among the week’s ten most-added tracks.
