Ratings: FX’s “Tyrant” Viewership Slips to Low

While it refuses to slip in the adults 18-49 demographic, FX’s “Tyrant” continues to attract a smaller audience for its initial broadcast.

Tuesday’s edition of “Tyrant,” the show’s seventh, drew a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating with 1.34 million viewers.

The adults 18-49 rating matches that delivered by the preceding three episodes–and four of the six total previous airings–but the viewership average is the series’ lowest to date.

Since delivering 1.70 million viewers for its third episode, the “Tyrant” viewership average has declined in each of the subsequent four episodes. Last week’s broadcast reached 1.43 million viewers.

One of three dramas actively airing on FX, “Tyrant” is routinely outperforming sophomore drama “The Bridge” but failing to match the weekly numbers for fellow newcomer “The Strain.”
