The “American Idol” field is down to three. And as has become the tradition, those three remaining contestants returned home to celebrate the achievement.
Caleb Johnson, Jena Irene and Alex Preston, the top three contestants for season thirteen, each returned home to reconnect with friends, perform music and soak in admiration from their local supporters. The trips also serve as fuel for the contestants, who this Wednesday will have to sing their hearts out for a spot in the finals.
