Thanks to a Christmas Day leak, by the time Miley Cyrus’ new “Adore You” hit Vevo and YouTube, fans were already abuzz about its racy contents.
After twerking in “We Can’t Stop” and enjoying a naked swing in “Wrecking Ball,” Cyrus spends the risque “Adore You” video in a bed and bathtub.
For much of the video, a euphoric Cyrus, dressed only in revealing lingerie, writhes around between the sheets of her bed. As she explores her body with her hands, the former “Hannah Montana” captures the action on a handheld camera.
To replicate the imagery of infamous sex tapes, some of the shots are presented in night vision.
Later, a seductive Cyrus soaks in a bathtub.
Following the leak, Cyrus Tweeted her doubt that the video would break the streaming records set by predecessor “Wrecking Ball.” But given her high-profile and the buzzworthy content, there is no reason to believe it will not be another ubiquitous music video.
