NBC Reveals First Look at WWE’s “Tribute to the Troops”

The cornerstone of WWE’s annual effort to honor members of the United States armed forces, the annual “Tribute to the Troops” broadcast represents a fun, innocuous night of wrestling and entertainment.

Yes, Nielsen will measure ratings for the broadcast, but its purpose transcends that which can be measured by a viewership approximation.

Excited about the opportunity to salute the troops, WWE and NBC, nonetheless, do want fans to watch the broadcast. And in a promotional effort for the show, NBC released several photos from the taping.

Be advised – by virtue of reflecting happenings at a television taping, the photos provide minor spoilers.

NBC’s broadcast of “WWE Tribute to the Troops” airs from 8-9PM on Saturday, December 28.
