“SNL” Ratings Drop to Season Low for Josh Hutcherson, HAIM

Featuring a relatively low-profile host and a musical guest unknown by the masses, this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” was not expected to deliver big ratings.

It did not.

The episode, which featured host Josh Hutcherson and musical guest HAIM, sank to a season low 2.0 adults 18-49 rating, according to data from the Top 25 markets with people meters.

With a 4.1 household rating, the episode narrowly avoided a season low in that category as well. The Edward Norton-hosted edition in October, which drew a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, only managed a 3.9 in households.

“SNL” takes a break next week and then returns in December with host Paul Rudd and musical guest One Direction.
