Eminem Makes it Four in the iTunes Top 10 as “Berzerk” Returns

Labeling him a “rap God” is a matter of personal opinion.

Recognizing him as a single sales force is a forcible reality.

Eminem’s iTunes Single Sales dominance, which has been notable all week, reached a new peak as a fourth “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” song ascended into the chart’s Top Ten.

“Berzerk,” which spent several weeks in the Top 10 after its release, re-entered the fold with a climb to number nine. In making that jump, it joins “The Monster” (#1), “Survival” (#3) and “Rap God” (#4) in the elite portion of iTunes’ US digital sales chart.

Following disappointing opening sales weeks for Katy Perry’s “Prism” and Arcade Fire’s “Reflektor,” Eminem’s “MMLP2,” which releases November 5, has an opportunity to prove that big name artists can live up to lofty expectations.

Whether it will seize that opportunity remains to be seen, but with four days until November 5 and four singles in the iTunes Top 10, Eminem is certainly top-of-mind for American music fans.

As of press time, the full iTunes Top 10 is as follows:

1 – Eminem’s “The Monster”
2 – Lorde’s “Royals”
3 – Eminem’s “Survival”
4 – Eminem’s “Rap God”
5 – Katy Perry’s “Roar”
6 – Avicii’s “Wake Me Up
7 – One Direction’s “Story of My Life”
8 – Passenger’s “Let Her Go”
9 – Eminem’s “Berzerk”
10 – Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball”
