TNT Renews Modestly-Rated “Franklin & Bash” for Season Four

TNT is not giving up on its hourlong legal comedy “Franklin & Bash.”

Undeterred by its consistently modest ratings performance, which particularly underwhelmed in season three, TNT picked up the Mark-Paul Gosselaar/Breckin Meyer vehicle for a fourth season.

Consisting of ten episodes, that fourth season will bow next year.

Panned by critics, “Franklin & Bash” has nonetheless generated ample fan support and pop culture recognition.

Deadline, which reported on the renewal, noted that because Heather Locklear joined the cast on a one-year basis, she would need to iron out a new deal to return for season four.
