First Look: Blaine, Kurt Honor the Beatles in “Glee” Season Premiere

With the third episode of “Glee”‘s upcoming fifth season confirmed as a tribute to cast member Cory Monteith, who passed away this summer, it is justifiably difficult for fans to focus on anything else.

But the season’s first two episodes–which focus on the music of iconic band The Beatles–are far from insignificant. Long anticipated by those inside and outside the “Glee” production universe, they jointly represent the show’s most musically-ambitious endeavor to date.

Because production on the fifth season of “Glee” got off to a late start in the wake of Monteith’s passing, teaser media has been slow to emerge. FOX finally made moves on that front Wednesday, confirming several production stills from the season premiere “Love Love Love.”
