“Glee” Confirms Demi Lovato for Season 5, Details on Her Character

Earlier this summer, “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that “American Idol” finalist Adam Lambert would be joining his show for its upcoming fifth season.

“Glee”‘s latest casting move involves one of the stars from FOX’s other music reality series.

TV Line reported Monday that Demi Lovato, who returns this fall for a second season as a coach on “The X Factor,” will recur on “Glee” for at least six episodes this season.

Set to make her debut in episode two–the second half of the Beatles tribute–Lovato will play a struggling artist friend to Rachel and Santana, who presently room together in New York City.

Her character will reportedly interact frequently with the one played by Adam Lambert.
