WWE to Confirm Upcoming Ultimate Warrior Involvement this Week

Confirming speculation that circulated this past week, WWE will announce that The Ultimate Warrior will be included as a playable character in WWE 2K14.

Talk of The Warrior’s potential involvement began this week after promotional material emerged showing his likeness. WWE is set to make that news official in an announcement Monday, playing off the successful buzz it generated for featuring Brock Lesnar and Mike Tyson in previous games.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Warrior, with his signature face paint, recently filmed a commercial for the game.

An unsourced-photo going around, purportedly taken at a GameStop location, confirms Warrior’s involvement as a playable character.
