WWE Fires Seven Wrestlers, Including Percy Watson, Audrey Marie

A recent Wrestling Observer report on WWE’s recent roster stability proved to be a jinx; news came Friday that WWE has cut seven members of its NXT development program.

Among those released were Divas Audrey Marie and Anya, Derrick Bateman, Percy Watson, Briley Pierce, Sakamoto and Brandon Tavern.

Of the released names, Sakamoto had the most recent main roster exposure as Tensai’s sidekick.  Percy Watson and Derrick Batmen had previously participated in the competition version of NXT, while Briley Pierce is the brother of World Champion Dolph Ziggler.
