Rihanna’s “777” Flops in the Ratings, “How I Met Your Mother” Hits Low

The tour was allegedly Hell for the journalists involved, and so too were the ratings for the resulting special.

FOX’s "Rihanna 777" special delivered a weak 0.8 rating and 1.73 million viewers at 8PM Monday, positioning FOX in distant fourth among the major broadcast networks in the timeslot.

Specials of the sort rarely draw strong ratings, but interest in the Rihanna broadcast was especially weak.

Over on CBS, the Monday ratings woes continued, with all four comedies remaining in their unimpressive recent territory.

The season’s penultimate "How I Met Your Mother" dipped to a season low 2.6 adults 18-49 rating with 6.94 million viewers, before leading into a flat "Rules of Engagement" (2.1, 6.65 million). "2 Broke Girls" drew 7.88 million and was even with last week’s 2.6, but "Mike & Molly" fell to a 2.2 and 7.09 million.

"Hawaii 5-0" closed out the evening with a 1.9 and 7.82 million.
