Fandango, William Regal WWE RAW Match Tanks in the Ratings

Rising WWE Superstar Fandango might be a featured attraction in some live venues, but he is not showing signs of captivating television viewers.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Monday Night RAW segment that featured his match with William Regal lost 949,000 viewers from the prior quarter hour, dropping to a mere 2.83 household rating.

Given the fact that The Undertaker’s big match took place in the preceding segment and attracted a big viewership spike (581,000 viewers), there was little WWE could do to avoid a drop in this particular quarter hour. But a loss of 949,000 viewers makes for one of WWE’s largest tune-outs in recent years, and it would be irresponsible to assume Fandango and William Regal played no part in losing some of those viewers.
