WWE RAW Delivers Disappointing Ratings for Post WrestleMania Show

Facing the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship is always a tall order, but the post-WrestleMania edition of WWE RAW is still expected to deliver strong ratings. It failed on that front Monday.

Monday’s show averaged a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating with 4.61 million viewers, which falls in the show’s recent range. Given the special significance of Monday’s show, typical is disappointing.

Most notable is that the show’s first hour was its low-point; the 8PM portion averaged a 1.5 with 4.49 million viewers. One would not have been unreasonable to expect a curiosity bump for that initial segment, especially since it did not oppose CBS’ coverage of the basketball game.

Both the 9PM and 10PM hours posted 1.7 ratings with 4.78 million and 4.56 million viewers, respectively.
