Rachel Crow Says Nicole Didn’t Cry For “Thirty Minutes” After “X Factor” Results

Rachel Crow says a report published by TMZ is false–Nicole Scherzinger did not engage in a thirty-minute crying session after the teenage singer’s surprise elimination on Thursday’s “The X Factor.”

Rather, she cried for an hour and a half.

Crow confirmed to reporters on a media call that Scherzinger was “devastated” by the outcome, which saw Crow eliminated after Nicole, unwilling to be the one to send Marcus Canty home, voted to bring the results to “Deadlock.”

Deadlock means that the contestant who received the lowest number of votes goes home, and as Marcus Canty received more support than Rachel Crow, he survived a third trip to the bottom group.

Crow, however, demonstrated immense optimism on the call, noting that she holds no ill-will towards Scherzinger–or any of the judges–over what happened during a very emotional results show.

That respect for the judges indeed extends to Antonio “LA” Reid. Though some felt LA’s mention of Rachel’s rumored Hollywood interest was a tactic to “sabotage” her by suggesting she didn’t need votes from “X Factor” viewers, she believes he is a “very nice man” who likely just wanted to bring up evidence of there being real excitement in her ability.

And though she opted to go with her own song choices–rather than Simon’s–this week, she did not have any negative words to share about her mentor.

  1. I was devastated to see little Rachel being voted off. While it was not Nicoles fault that the public didn’t vote like they should have. I to believe that with L.A. words about hollywood buz could have possibly cause Rachel votes. We some times stop voting for someone because we think they are going to be a star anyway. We forget it is about right then and its a competition and it still hurts to lose. Even though Marcus is talented no one star shine brighter than Rachel’s from the very beginning. I know she will be okay just like Astro will be. Still disappointed I will not be in a rush to see the show now. I think Nicole was crying because deep down she should have voted for Rachel but she went for the safe thing and it didn’t work.

  2. WRONG it was totally Nicole’s fault. All i could do was look in shock and cry. I hope and pray that Nicole gets off the show. I hate her. Marcus Canty should of went home. Nicole you need to find a better job because you are not cut out to be a judge. GET OFF X FACTOR AND DO US ALL A FAVOR. THANK YOU
