Reports of The Rock at WWE RAW Corrected, John Cena Update

Though The Rock will be at Monday’s WWE RAW, he is not scheduled to participate in a match, contrary to a report featured on PWInsider.com this afternoon.

Earlier Monday, the website ran a story claiming that John Cena informed a local Boston radio show that The Rock would be teaming with him and Zack Ryder in a dark match at RAW.

The site later located audio of the interview, which reveals Cena actually said “Punk” (as in, CM Punk) not “Rock.”

Monday’s WWE RAW has nonetheless been built around an in-arena appearance from The Rock, who will be promoting his first match in years at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view.
