“Modern Family” Actress Scores First Award at 63rd Annual Emmys

If anyone was viewed as capable of beating out “Glee” star Jane Lynch this year, it was Sofia Vergara. Yet it was instead Julie Bowen who pulled the Emmy for her performance as Claire Dunphy.
