TNA Wrestling Wanted Big Name to Debut, Hulk Hogan Wants Bill Goldberg

F4WOnline.com reports that TNA Wrestling originally had a different plan for its recent reveal involving “The Network.”

Foley, the report says, was not the wrestling company’s original choice for the angle.

While specifics have not been disclosed, it should be fairly easy to create a short-list of likely suspects for the original name given the F4W description that “TNA had another 90s star in mind but couldn’t pull off the deal.”

And one wrestler that can be scratched from that short-list, despite support from Hulk Hogan as a game-changing potential acquisition, is Bill Goldberg, who has been ruled out as the subject of TNA’s original Network plans.
