WWE Fans Express Anger Over SmackDown! Spoilers, Title Situation

A key development revealed in spoiler reports for this week’s SmackDown! taping has sent many WWE fans over-the-edge.

The spoiler, which has received such a notable reaction that most media outlets avoided even “hiding” the news from thus who wish to remain surprised until Friday, was unlikely to be a popular decision, especially with the “Internet wrestling community.” Ironically, the rationale for the booking decision was undoubtedly to keep more fans engaged with the “new look SmackDown!” following last week’s roster draft.

The remainder of the story contains a major spoiler for SmackDown.

“When sending hate tweets to myself or @WWE because of @Christian4Peeps, @RandyOrton and the World Heavyweight Championship, please be PG ;),” wrote Joey Styles over the fact that Randy Orton defeated Christian to win the Championship at the SmackDown! tapings. Christian won the championship on Sunday.

Randy Orton, meanwhile, Re-Tweeted, “@RandyOrton You won the title.Vince has no idea how much people are hating YOU on the Internet. I hope you continue to lose all your fans.”
