Poking fun at rumors that he disrespectfully snubbed Trish Stratus in advance of–and during–last weekend’s WWE WrestleMania, John Morrison made a Twitter crack about having a “cold shoulder.”
With rumors that John Morrison had been publicly displaying his resentment towards Stratus for the fact that she took a WrestleMania spot away from his girlfriend Melina in context, Stratus explained in a “Busted Open Radio” interview that she had been given the “cold shoulder” by Morrison.
Footage from ‘Mania seemed to reveal that he “dodged” her attempts to given him a celebratory embrace after their team’s win. PWTorch.com rumors, meanwhile, said he made himself unavailable to discuss booking ideas with her ahead of the match.
Responding to the animosity on Twitter, Morrison wrote, “Raw in Bridgeport today- Lookout @HEELZiggler… I got a mean punch, a furious kick, and a cold shoulder!”
