“Pretty Little Liars” Scores Huge Ratings For Return Episode

“Pretty Little Liars” predictably built upon its respectable summer numbers for a smash premiere Monday night.

The show’s 2011 premiere garnered an impressive viewership total of 4.2 million, which ranks the episode in ABC Family’s all-time top five. “Liars” was also a hit within its key demographics, scoring a 3.5 women 18-34 rating, a 5.3 females 12-34 rating, a 2.1 adults 18-34 rating and a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating.

According to ABC Family, the series high performance for “Liars” outranked everything in its timeslot for the aforementioned young female demos.

ABC has not yet revealed figures for “Greek,” which premiered its fourth season Monday.
