A very successful cycle of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” culminated Tuesday amid ample buzz and controversy for Bristol Palin’s ongoing success.
Effectively the Sanjaya Malakar of “Dancing,” Sarah Palin’s daughter had charmed voters and cruised to the final show despite widespread criticism about her dancing ability. Going into Tuesday’s finale, there was legitimate intrigue to see if Palin’s popularity would be enough to produce a victory.
Also in the finals were Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey. Palin, Grey and Massey were joined in the competition by pros Mark Ballas, Derek Hough and Lacey Schwimmer, respectively.
As 11PM rolled around, the latest “Dancing” winner was revealed. The winning couple was Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough.
Massey and Schwimmer ranked second, while the team of Palin and Ballas was good for a third place finish.
thank goodness, I would never have watched it again!!!! There was nothing charming about Bristol and she certainly did not deserve to be in the final.
YEAH JENNIFER. Although Kyle was awesome, I loved Jennifer. Bristol should have been gone a long time ago. If she had won, I too would not be watching the show anymore.
Yes, Bristol should have been gone by the third week at least, but don’t put any blame on her, except for her continus remarks” Those who hate my Mother and me”. I don’t believe she could’t see also what was going on. Blame the powers Thank goodness were, up until this week. Her Mother and all those puppy dogs who trail after her. There was no one who could have won it over Jennifer.
Wow what a finish. It pays to be posetive. It was a shame that Bristol even made it that far. I guess those tea partiers don’t know much about dancing either. Bristol had no pizazz!!
Bristol is a kid and did well for herself. Why bash Bristol? I will guess no one is happier at season’s end than Derrick. He no longer has to deal with the moods of Jennifer. What was her last job? I was most entertained by Kyle. He and Bristol had fun and treated their professional partner’s with respect unlike Jennifer. Winners of prior seasons would have kicked her behind.
Bristol is a young adult now and is responsible for her actions. They talked about how she spent 5 days driving down from Alaska to participate in the dancing competition. What about her child? She travels around lecturing other young people about not having sex and getting pregnant. Since she didn’t follow that rule, shouldn’t she be at home taking care of her baby. She was never a “star”, she was an unfortunate puppet for her mother to use during her insane campaign to be vice president. And she won’t stop, whatever it takes to keep the Palin name in the forefront of American culture. And what a mouth Bristol has: everything “sucks” and she said early on that her winning would be a way of giving the middle finger to all of those who “hate her mother and hate her.” Man, that family has some serious problems that should not be aired in public! Interesting tonight I saw Bristol’s little sister in the audience but there was an empty seat next to her. Where was Sarah to cheer on her loser of a daughter? They are simply trailer trash with money!
Hey donn’t trash trailer dwellers. They would never flaunt their wealth and power to influence peopel to vote for them for a contest they didn’t deseerve.
What the Hell! dancing with the stars has just lost me,all of my family and friends, friends of friends ect. Palin danced like she should be teaching her child the one two step. This program is rigged.Count me out.
Next time let momma Palin dance. Rig Dancing with the stars again.
