Skip Sheffield, who has been positioned as the clear number two force in WWE’s Nexus stable behind leader Wade Barrett, has been sidelined with an injury.
According to F4WOnline.com, Sheffield suffered a broken left ankle at a house show in Hawaii and will miss a period of time for the ring. The expected length of his absence is not yet clear.
Next week’s RAW has already been taped, so any impact of Sheffield’s injury will not show up until the August 30 RAW.
