Preliminary ratings reports reveal that this week’s WWE RAW posted a solid 3.35 cable household rating for Monday’s episode.
The episode, which coincided with the day of observation for America’s Independence Day (the July 4 holiday fell on a Sunday this year), garnered average viewership of 4.81 million, according to Mediaweek.
Of note is the strong second hour, which posted a 3.49 cable rating and viewership in excess of 5 million. That level of hourly increase reveals immense interest in the development of the show, particularly as it led into the “truce” segment between John Cena and Wade Barrett.
The important adults 18-49 demo registered at a 1.8, based on hours of 1.6 and 1.9.
