Bret Hart Wins WWE’s United States Championship

In front of the Canadian crowd, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart defeated The Miz to win the United States Championship on Monday’s RAW.

The match, which became a no-disqualification bout, saw interference from Chris Jericho, Kozlov and William Regal on Miz’s behalf; the Hart Dynasty, however, proved more effective, and worked together to ripen Miz for Bret Hart’s sharpshooter. He tapped immediately.

Contrary to speculation, there was no Bryan Danielson interference in the match, as WWE instead decided to crown Hart with the belt.
