UFC “Rampage vs. Evans” Primetime Show Scores Record Rating

Placed strategically after an episode of “The Ultimate Fighter,” “UFC Primetime: Rampage vs. Evans” scored the promotion’s highest countdown show viewership to date.

According to a Spike TV announcement, the show averaged 1.2 million viewers from 11-11:30PM, which topped the first “St. Pierre vs. Hardy” primetime show by 20%. Mixed martial arts insiders obviously now have a renewed sense of optimism about the buyrate this long-awaited grudge match will draw later this month.

Among key demographics, the show posted a 1.2 rating with males 18-34 and a 1.1 for males 18-49. The demos give it the edge over the Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir countdown show, F4WOnline.com reports.
