Justin Bieber’s “My World 2.0” Tops Monica With Strong Album Sales

Breakout teen Justin Bieber’s momentum is showing no signs of slowing as his “My World 2.0” prepares for a number one chart debut.

Based on one day sales extensions from Hits Daily Double, the album should move 225-250,000 units en route to a number one on the Billboard 200.

Close behind will be a surprisingly strong “Still Standing” from Monica; the veteran R&B act’s album could reach between 165-190,000 first week sales.

The latest NOW compilation should be good for 135-140,000.

  1. GO GET MONICA ALBUM!!!! Forget that trash “my world 2.0” Monica song is #1 on Hot R&B/HipHop Charts Haaaa haters

  2. Monica’s album sales might hit about 180,000. Could have been more if J. Records had shown more confidence and sent out more albums instead of letting stores sell out within the first few hours of release date. But congrats to Justin anyways!! I only have love for people wh work hard to let their talent be heard. Monica’s CD is so good. I am glad I got to Target before they sold out.

  3. Justin Bieber’s album is a re-release with some new tracks not a brand new album, My World was released in Nov 09, so his sales don’t impress me. The first release of My World sold 137,000 copies the first week.

  4. Justins my world 2.0 is not re-release and none of the songs from the first my world are on this CD, every track is a new track.
