WWE Name on Dreamer’s Future, Bret Hart Update

While Tommy Dreamer’s recent WWE.com statement danced around news of his departure from the company, he apparently was looser-lipped when it came to his texting. Jim Ross wrote in his most recent website blog that Dreamer confirmed his exit via cell phone correspondence.

“I received a wonderful text message from Tommy Dreamer on Christmas Day that confirmed that he was leaving WWE,” wrote Ross.

He added, “Tommy did not mention what he was going to be doing but I would assume that Dreamer will be doing more wrestling,” adding fuel to the speculation fire on Dreamer’s next move. It remains unclear if he is subject to a no-compete.

— On the subject of Bret Hart hosting RAW, Ross offered, “Seems as if the Bret Hart hosting Monday Night Raw on January 4 is apparently a lock according to the DirecTV programming guide . I got a cool email from “Hitman” during the holidays but we never discussed his projected or potential Raw appearance.
