Backstage Story On The TNA Final Resolution Firing

The match has taken place, and it has been confirmed that Sheik Abdul Bashir was the wrestler who drew the pink slip briefcase at Sunday’s TNA Final Resolution.

Bashir, real name Shawn Daivari, was thus “fired” from TNA–a storyline move sources confirm is legitimate. PWInsider.com noted that Bashir was “saying his goodbyes” to TNA colleagues prior to the event going live and will be departing the company.

Mixed reports are going around about whether it was TNA or the wrestler responsible for severing the ties. While those close to Daivari say he gave notice, the going line from those within TNA is that the company made the decision to let him go several weeks ago.
