More on Booker T’s Possible WWE Jump, How Jeff Hardy Is Involved

F4WOnline.com reiterated this week that WWE sources believe the company would be more than willing to take Booker T back, should he depart from TNA.

While Booker has looked neither impressive nor motivated, according to many observers, in his recent TNA matches, WWE insiders are pointing to Jeff Hardy as proof that Booker can bring value to WWE.

Hardy hardly impressed in-and-out of the ring during his time in TNA, but during his most recent WWE stint, he became one of the most popular stars in the company. The feeling is that if the WWE environment could bring the best out of Jeff Hardy, it could offer the same for Booker T.

— There has been some debate about how Booker T would fit into the WWE roster in the event that he does, in fact, leave TNA and rejoin WWE (which is still not official but likely to be the case). While many believe he would be a natural fit for SmackDown! in the present, his past problems with SmackDown! writer Michael Hayes might throw a wrench in such plans.

Of course, given where both Hayes and Booker T are professional right now, many believe they would find a way to make things work.

  1. I always liked Booker T in WWE. But he’s past his prime and would just get in the way of up and coming kids, the future like Morrison & Ziggler & Knox on Smackdown.

  2. Booker T has never even had a “prime”.Always overpushed& untalented& very forced with his gibberish/ebonics where he’s just trying to do anything. He’s desperate for “attention” & a horrible wrestler.WWE will take him because they dont know how to develop any wrestlers to mean anything.Booker T means nothing for tv interest,or ppv buyrates or TV ratings.Retire already and stop always playing the “race card”.He would’ve never been a Heavyweight Champion had it not been for the WCW discrimination lawsuit. If you think otherwise, you need to stop drinking the KOOLAID.

  3. If Booker does indeed return to WWE, he needs to understand his role. His better years are behind him and he’s at the end of his career. He’s not going to be a top player. If he’s brought in, it will be to help push young talent. If he can accept that role, then I say why not? People know him and he’s a decent performer. And I agree, no more “King Booker” crap. Just being “Booker T” like the old days of WCW and early WWE is just fine.

  4. I think booker is past his prime and is at the end of his career.so,i think he should finish his career in tna. Also, whoever called that man a coon is an egnorant basterd.

  5. somethings never change, ignorant racial slurs, idiotic comments by staff and supporters, poor reporting, welcome back , Headline Planet, you were not missed.
