“Heroes” Character Spoiler, “30 Rock” Wants McCartney, “Mad Men”

— Though Jon Hamm once again fell victim to fellow AMC actor Bryan Cranston in the Emmy race for Leading Actor in a Drama Series, he had no reason to be gravely upset–his series “Mad Men” won its second consecutive Outstanding Drama Series Emmy.

Backstage at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards, Hamm said it was “completely historic for a basic cable show to win not just one but two” Emmy Awards.

— “30 Rock” star and repeat Emmy winner Alec Baldwin said that Paul McCartney is his ideal choice for a guest star on the three-time Emmy-winning NBC sitcom.

— Andrew Connolly has joined “Heroes” as Samuel’s (new cast addition Robert Knepper) older brother.
