Well-known pro wrestling Twitter user The Miz posted an update from backstage at tonight’s RAW telecast.
“Backstage all anyone can talk about is bob barker has to be the most excited everyone has gotten,” wrote Miz, putting over the positive lockerroom reaction to Barker’s presence.
It should be interesting to see how the lockerroom reaction changes based on the quality of Barker’s performance tonight. Earlier this summer, sources said that the wrestlers were “marking out” when Jeremy Piven arrived backstage. After his turn as RAW host flopped with critics, wrestlers suddenly changed their tune, with numerous insiders criticizing Piven’s “attitude.”
