What You Didn’t See on RAW, Superstars *Spoilers*

All of tonight’s off-air RAW notes are courtesy Victoria Goodland and PWInsider.com:

Preshow:
There were several hearty rounds of “Bret Screwed Bret” and Ric Flair Woos. They played a video package on the Titantron just hyping the WWE that was pretty good, actually.

WWE SUPERSTARS SPOILERS:
John Morrison vs. D.H. Smith.

They both got a great pop coming out, and another round of “Bret Screwed Bret”. It was a decent match with Morrison doing his usual amazing self. He won after a great Starship Pain.

About to go live! They announced that we were going live, but apparently they taped another Superstars match.

The King comes out to a great pop. Michael Cole got booed.

Mixed tag match: Mickie James
and Kofi Kingston vs. Carlito and Rosa Mendes:

Kofi and Mickie got some great crowd reaction. The match was alright, with most of the cheers going to Kofi and Mickie. Carlito and Rosa won, but it was mostly a one-sided match.

OFF-AIR AND POST-SHOW NOTES:
Jericho got a great Y2J chant during the opening.

Gail Kim was fantastic and the crowd was really into her.

Sgt. Slaughter got booed pretty good during his anti-Canada rant, including an “A******” chant.

The Swagger vs Bourne was basically over before the crowd could get into it, but MVP got a huge pop.

And the Calgary Kid as The Miz, which got a pretty good reaction.

Orton/Big Show was alright, and the crowd was pretty into it until the countout.

After the MVP vs Masters match featuring Swagger they showed a great package about Jeff Hardy.

After they teased Bret Hart there was a loud, lengthy “We Want Bret” chant. Three times.

Legacy/The Swoggles got a lot of crowd reaction, both cheers and jeers.

I’m sure you could hear the “Cena Sucks” chant, and based on Cena’s expression I’m certain he did too, but then he got a pretty good crowd backing.

After the show went off the air Cena got on talking about Bret, and the crowd went pretty nuts for it. He really talked up Hart and said he was a “true competitor”. He called out Orton and asked him to come into the ring for basically a photo op. They shook hands and held their arms up until Orton started stomping on Cena. As Cena was down, Orton lined up for the punt. Cena rolled away and hit an Attitude Adjustment. Cue Cena’s music.

Lillian thanked the crowd and said goodnight.
