Shaq Making WWE Return?, More Guest RAW Host Rumors

— With Jeremy Piven and Ken Jeong continuing to get publicity for their RAW appearance, rumors are moving throughout the entertainment and wrestling worlds about future guest hosts for the program. Earlier this week, Stephanie McMahon confirmed interest in having Freddie Prinze, Jr., Bob Barker and Al Sharpton on the show, while Mike Adamle reportedly said that he had been offered a chance to host. In an interview with IGN, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Glenn Howerton said that he, Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day might host next month in conjunction with a wrestling-themed edition of the FX sitcom (Roddy Piper guests in the episode). Meanwhile, according to correspondent reports, WWE star Kane teased in a UK interview that comedy star Ricky Gervais might host (although it appeared he was just playing to the local audience rather than giving away a potential RAW host).

— PWInsider reports that WWE is looking towards another Shaquille O’Neal appearance on RAW. While there still is no indication that he will work Summerslam and no definitive plan for the RAW gig in place, WWE is looking to book another confrontation between O’Neal and Big Show–the hype on this past week’s show was apparently not for nothing.
